2026.1.10(sat) – 2.8(sun) MARCO GALLERY, Osaka
Marco Gallery is pleased to present “互- Traces of Time and Body,” a duo exhibition by Kanji Hasegawa and Noriko Saso. This exhibition reflects on life and death, and on the notions of time and the body that inevitably accompany them.
Hasegawa translates flowers and plants into wood sculptures, revealing a temporal intersection between what withers away and what continues to remain. In contrast, Saso constructs bodily images in which life and death coexist through fictional motifs such as zombies and mythology.
Approaching from different points of departure-reality and imagination-the exhibition quietly poses questions about themes that are universal to human existence.
